Adverse Weather Arrangements

In any school closure emergency (snow or otherwise) we would like to be sure that all parents or emergency contacts can be contacted promptly. Information is gathered and you will receive the relevant forms annually. The school should be notified of any change in emergency contact details/snow closure address to ensure pupil safety.

In the event of severe weather the school buses may not run and school may be closed. 

We will inform parents of a school closure through the following methods:

Online (Aberdeenshire School Closure Website) - The website is at http://online.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/Apps/schools-closures/  The website is easy to use and, again, the information will be updated at regular intervals as appropriate. You can also  Sign in with myAberdeenshire to register for email alerts or download the myAberdeenshire app to get notifications when your school(s) updates their closure status.

GroupCall - Parents/carers will receive an email with details of a closure.
