Forgue School, built in 1865, is situated approximately eight miles east of Huntly in the heart of the Aberdeenshire countryside. We are a small rural primary school serving children aged 5 to 12 years.
All pupils learn together in a nurturing composite P1 to P7 class, where strong relationships, collaboration and mutual respect are at the heart of school life. We believe that developing positive attitudes towards learning is just as important as academic achievement. We strive to help our pupils become happy, caring and confident individuals who show kindness to others, enjoy learning and develop the skills, knowledge and attributes needed to thrive as independent learners.
Within our caring, inclusive and stimulating environment, we provide a wide range of meaningful learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and resilience. We support every child to achieve their full potential, extending their understanding across all areas of the curriculum and preparing them for lifelong learning, work and responsible citizenship.
